Privacy notice
This notice explains Sakura’s current technical privacy foundation for salon enquiries, bookings, services, payments, and account security. It is not a claim of completed legal certification.
Information SakuraOS handles
Customer identity and contact details, communication preferences, acquisition source, booking and service records, package entitlements, payment and charge records, and limited operational notes needed to deliver salon services. SakuraOS also keeps restricted account, session, security, and audit records needed to operate the system safely.
Purpose and minimization
Information is used to answer enquiries, identify the correct service recipient, manage appointments and services, record payments, support customers, and secure salon operations. Sakura does not intend SakuraOS operational notes to be medical records. Staff must not enter diagnoses, unnecessary health information, or inappropriate personal commentary.
Operational contact and marketing
Messages needed to manage an enquiry, appointment, service, payment, or customer request are operational communications. A preferred contact channel does not by itself mean marketing consent. Automated marketing and a marketing-consent workflow are not active in this launch foundation.
Access and service providers
Access is limited by staff role and operational need. The OWNER controls security, privacy assessment, users, and owner reporting; reception access is limited to reception work. Production hosting, database, backup, monitoring, and any future notification providers will be documented before use. The final production provider and data location are not yet selected.
Retention, correction, and privacy requests
Records are retained only while there is an operational, financial, security, dispute, or applicable legal need. Exact retention periods and UAE-specific erasure rules remain under owner and legal/compliance review. Customers may ask Sakura to correct information or assess a privacy request. A request does not trigger automatic deletion because booking, financial, package, security, and legal dependencies must first be checked.
Security and cookies
SakuraOS uses access controls, protected sessions, audit records, and additional OWNER authentication safeguards. The site does not currently use non-essential advertising or analytics tracking, so no non-essential cookie consent banner is shown. Essential security/session technology may be used where required to provide the service.
